2010Hilary Duff to Wed at California Ranch?
The singer-and-actress got engaged to ice hockey player Mike Comrie while they were on holiday in Hawaii earlier this year. He popped the question with a $1 million 14-carat ring, and Hilary happily accepted.
It has now been claimed Hilary is keen to wed before Mike’s hockey league starts again later this year. “She’s hoping to hold the nuptials before October 7,” a source said. “Hilary wants to keep the wedding small – but she’s having major trouble cutting down the guest list!”
Hilary and Mike have started looking at locations, and are considering marrying in Santa Barbara, California. They have looked at several venues, and Hilary is certain she has already found her favourite.
“Hilary toured the San Ysidro Ranch and loved it. It’s an incredibly beautiful setting and has a lot of history,” the source added to the National Enquirer.
The ranch is billed as the perfect combination of “natural beauty and romantic heritage”, and Hilary is believed to have told pals she can’t imagine walking down the aisle anywhere else.

Artists from Hilary Duff to Journey owe a debt to ‘Laguna Beach’ and its spin-off.
Tuesday night (July 13) represents a huge moment in the history of MTV programming and reality television in general. After six seasons, “The Hills” is coming to a close with a two-hour grand-finale event, beginning at 8 p.m. on MTV. It has been a watershed program, as it first established the sort of hyper-real aesthetic that many reality shows (and a handful of fictional dramas) copied. But “The Hills” and its predecessor, “Laguna Beach,” also left their mark in the music world.
Each of the shows had theme songs that helped spark massive career moves for the artists behind them. The theme song to “Laguna Beach” was Hilary Duff’s “Come Clean,” co-written by Kara DioGuardi and John Shanks. Though it originally appeared on Duff’s 2003 album, Metamorphosis, and was released as a single in early 2004, it really picked up steam once it accompanied the premiere of “Laguna Beach” in September of that year. It peaked at #9 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart and earned Duff a shortlist recommendation (though no actual nomination) for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the Grammy Awards.

I made a new sub-site dedicated to the Gulf oil spill disaster. I’ve been an avid activist on this horrific disaster from the beginning and this morning I thought of the idea to make a twitter dedicated to updating and spreading awareness on the issue.
I called it FANSFORTHEGULF because the cool thing about fan sites is it connects groups of people all over the world and the fan sites have a power that draws people in. My goal is to have numerous fan sites all over the net linking the Twitter so people all over the world can see what’s going on, and how serious it really is.

Although Hilary is rumored to have two new projects, the first, a thriller called “The Gift Horse” and the other is a remake called “Eva”.

2010Kevin Zegers Talks Bonnie & Clyde
One-time Hump Day Hottie, Kevin Zegers, is not only steaming up Miley Cyrus’ latest music video for her song “Big Big Bang,” but he’s also bracing to become the latest hottie to play the role of the elusive criminal, Clyde Barrow in “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.” Kevin, who will star in the flick alongside Hilary Duff, told MTV News that the film is all lined up on his filming docket later this year.
“I’m gonna do two films right before that, and then I think that gonna go at the end of fall,” he said. “And we’ll see how all the pieces come together in terms of cast and everything with schedules and all that stuff. As of right now I’m definitely going to do that in November.”
Kevin said that the film will not only focus on the romance of the two young criminals in love (Hilary will play Bonnie), but also a lot of the action. “It’s much more of a sort of young action love story than the [1967] original [featuring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beaty] was,” he explained. “It definitely is a younger version of that. The action is going to be a lot more hardcore than the first one was.”
So, what attracted the actor, most recently known for his small role on “Gossip Girl,” to the flick? “I don’t know. I like to do stuff that seems like biting off more than you can chew,” he said. “It seemed like a huge endeavor to make this work in a way that in a way that audience doesn’t go, ‘Oh I liked the original one better.’”
